Return Policy

If for any reason you aren't completely in love with your order, just let us know within 14 days. A return is possible for most of our products.

As a dealer, we work directly with NIU's distributors to sell their products in the United States. The Return Policy we offer on NIU products (the manufacturer) is only valid if the product is originally purchased from us. 

  • Online Purchase. Refund will be made in the same way as the original payment method minus both ways shipping fees plus twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee. Any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one item or multiple items.
  • Please note they are no in-store returns for KQI models.

    2. Returning a MQi/NQi Scooter

    MQi/NQi scooters are non-returnable for whatever reason. In situations in which there’s a clear technical problem with a new product, we will gladly fix it as per our warranty policy.

      3. Returning a Battery

      Return Conditions
      • Must be in original packaging and unused
      • Must include the original receipt, all accessories, and documentation
      Return Period
      • Must be made within 14 days of receipt of product
      Refund Amount
      • Refund will be made in the same way as the original payment method minus both ways shipping or delivery fees (if applicable) plus 3% credit card fees. Any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one item or multiple items.
      Refund Period
      • Once the inspection is complete, a refund will be issued within 3 days.

      4. Returning a Part or an Accessory

      Return Conditions
      • Must be in original packaging, unused, and resalable Must include the original receipt, all accessories, and documentation
      Return Period
      • Must be made within 14 days of receipt of product
      Refund Amount
      • Refund will be made in the same way as the original payment method minus both ways shipping or delivery fees (if applicable) plus 3% credit card fees. Any item returned with an order that used a discount code will have the entire discount code value subtracted from the refund value, whether you return one item or multiple items.
      Refund Period
      • A full refund will be issued within 3 days.

      5. Non-Returnable Products

      • Clearance products
      • Gift cards
      • Custom products and special orders
      • Products labeled “Non-Returnable” on the sale page
      • Individual products purchased at a discounted rate as part of a bundle
      • Vehicles that legally qualify as motor vehicles and require license to drive (ex. M-Series, N-Series, etc.)

      6. Returning a Product

      If you want to return a product and have bought your NIU product directly from us, please contact our Customer Support department. We will be happy to assist you. If the original purchase was made from another reseller, please contact that reseller. They will take care of the warranty claim for you.

      Required for in-store returns:

      • Original receipt
      • Debit or Credit card used for the purchase
      • Product meeting the requirements of its individual return policy


      Notes:

      • A product not meeting the requirements of its individual return policy cannot be returned.
      • A product that have been owned longer than 14 days do not qualify for return.

      7. Return Shipping/Delivery Fees

      The round trip shipping or delivery cost will be deducted from the quoted refund prior to refund.

      Shipping/delivery costs will be covered for any pre-damaged, defective, or incorrect NIU products reported to our Support Service within 14 days. Customers will be responsible for return shipping fees beyond the 14 days.

      8. Defective Products

      Report any defective NIU products to our Support Service. Our technicians will evaluate the condition and repair the product. We will send instructions if a return is needed.

      Shipping Fees
      Shipping/delivery costs will be covered for any pre-damaged, defective, or incorrect NIU products reported to our Support Service within 14 days. Customers will be responsible for return delivery/shipping fees beyond the 14 days.

      9. Returning Defective Products

      10. Product Damaged in Transit or Incorrect Products

      Report any incorrect or damaged products to our Customer Service.

      Shipping Fees
      If product is incorrect or damaged in transit and is reported to our Customer Support within 14 days of delivery, we will cover return shipping costs. Customers will be responsible for return shipping fees beyond the 14 days.

      11. Missing Products Upon Return

      Once a product is returned, any missing parts, accessories, or documents must be received within 10 days at the customer’s expense. Missing product will be deducted from the refund if not returned.

      12. Technical Issues

      To troubleshoot technical issues with your NIU product, consult the knowledge base or our Customer Support.

      13. Refund Methods

      • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
      • Credit and Debit refunds will be issued to the card.
      • Bank account payments will be deposited back into the account.
      • PayPal refunds will be refunded directly to the account.
      • Cash transactions will be reimbursed cash. Refunds over 200$ will be sent via e-transfer.
      • Third parties financing refunds will reflect in a reduced loan balance

      Note: Bulk purchases and special orders cannot be refunded. One refund per customer is allowed as per our refund policy.

      14. Refund Processing Time

      In-Store
      Once the inspection is complete, a refund will immediately be issued via the original payment method.

      Shipping/Carriers Services
      Online purchases will be refunded within 3 days of inspection. Refund confirmation will be sent.

      Local Pickup Service
      Online purchases will be refunded within 3 days of inspection. Refund confirmation will be sent.

      Once the inspection is complete, the customer will be notified to present themselves for a refund issued via the original payment method.

      Note: Refunds can take up to 15. business days for banks to process. Contact your bank directly for information or concerns.

      15. Credit

      Credit is issued via Gift Card.

      16. Pre-Order/Back Order Cancellation

      Canceling a pre-order or back order without paying fees is possible if the order hasn’t yet been shipped or delivered.


      Canceling or modifying a pre-order or back order without paying fees any time after it has shipped or delivered is not possible. If the order has been shipped, the round trip shipping fee + 3% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refund.

      17. In-Stock Orders or In-Transit Items

      If the product you ordered is in stock, your order will be shipped out as fast as possible.


      Canceling an order without paying fees is possible if the order hasn’t yet been shipped or delivered.

      Canceling or modifying an order without paying fees any time after it has shipped or delivered is not possible. If possible, refuse the shipment when the courier service attempts delivery. This will reroute the package back to our facilities. If this is not possible and the order must be delivered, please mention that to our Support Service and make sure to not unpack or use the product. When the product is returned, received, and inspected by our team, the round trip shipping fees + credit card processing fee of 3% will be deducted from your refund and the balance will be credited back to your original method of payment.
